Riding Lesson
I had a great riding lesson last night. Sometimes I think I have too many interests -I'm competent at several but I'm not brilliant at any of them. But last night's lesson made me feel like I have potential at riding, which is nice, and after twenty years of riding, really about damn time (has it really been twenty years?).
I may end up at a schooling show in August. Mom said I should, asking what's the worst that could happen? I said I could fall off and the horse could stand on me. Mom admitted that probably wouldn't be much fun. ;)

I was just thinking the worse thing you could do would be make an ass out of yourself. I wasn't considering injury.

You're an excellent photographer and if you ride half as well as you shoot, you'll be a star.

That's an excellent picture. You are really getting good at this close-up stuff. I love that hoof picture, love it. Don't say shoot around a horse though, it makes them think they are sick. Don't fall off and get stood on either. Can we be in the audience cheering you on? Do you do that at horse events?

By the way, I really love this picture. Before magnifying it, I had a dazed impression that it was a gerbil caught in a toilet roll... and then I clicked on it and was like... OHHHH! I get it. :) Pretty, pretty horses. I love the light on the hair. And speaking of horses, I totally think you should participate in the show! I wish I could be there, but at least someone could take pictures of the priceless moment when you get stepped on for me! ;-) You know you wouldn't fall off and get stopped on, you dorx. :) Love, Lisa
