Canoeing

Chris bought a 17' Wenonah, and we took it out one day last week on Lake Glendale, which is tiny as lakes go, but is quiet and calm and beautiful.

More to follow.

Those are great pictures. I particularly like the last one of you and Chris. Looks like you had a great day for it.

Lake Glendale is 80 acres. That sounds big to me.

I worked at Lake Glendale for $.50 an hour. I did get to go swimming and boating for free however. I could also eat anything I wanted. My brothers could also do all that free just because I worked there.
It was a pretty good life.
In those days Lake Glendale was very popular. We had about 1000-1200 swimmers on weekend days.
It was 1960.
